my word for 2009
if you scrap (and yes, i do...i completed 5 layouts just last night!), and if you read scrappin blogs of any kind, then you just may have heard all the buzz of "words for 2009"
i'm not usually one for this sort of thing...whatever you want to call it, but this year i'm in!
i've given this ALOT of thought over the past month or so...
what do i want to do/accomplish this next year?
will i have time for all that there is to do and that i want to do?
am i willing to make challenges for myself and set out to do them?
for me, what word would best fit these "lists" that i have going on in my head? and would help encourage me in more ways than one?
that word for me is:
BALANCE the power or means to decide; taking everything into consideration; all in all.
there were several words, good ones, that i could have chosen, but most of them led me back to BALANCE.
i want to HAVE a BALANCED life. week to week, day to day, moment by moment. if you are a mom or a wife or whoever, i'm sure you know exactly where i'm coming from...trying to get it all done in a day seems impossible and getting it done right and to the best of your ability sometimes can seem overwhelming. i don't want impossible or overwhelming...
i've made this for myself, to remind me of what's in store for me in 2009
The Vertical Tag Necklace. Each tag is hand cut by me! You choose a name or word with a maximum of 9 or so characters. This tag is strung on an 24" sterling ball chain with a pearl. If you need to include more letters or perhaps additional tags, let me know...I'm sure we can work something out!
