thought i forgot about you, huh? well, i have been extremely busy and i will catch you up on that at a later time...
i get this email on thursday evening from just let me scrapbook stating they are going out of business (actually her storefront only) and that she would have all of her displays FOR SALE! now even though i had never been to this store (only online) i knew of several people who did and said that she had the best displays...all vintag'y and stuff!
i was talking to my mom on the phone when i read the email...we made plans to go early the next morning prior to getting ready for out big yard sale!
we headed to barnesville ga with my dad's truck in search of wonderful things!
she DID have the cutest little shop...sad that these ladies have such difficult times staying open but with the economy and online retailers, sometimes they have no choice
see that antique tool box? i practically ran to it in the store...and four days later i still have no idea what i'm going to do with it! possibly store scrapbook stuff in there...make it look pretty, because i'm certainly not using it lately!
here's a picture of what my mom took home...that apple green table was leaving with us somehow, someway...there was absolutely no way was i leaving there without it! it's an old children's reading table and it actually has someone's initials carved into the top
the window thing'y was backed with screen (like possibly part of an old screen door) and had this really cool shelf attached!
i also bought a cute little table that i haven't taken a picture of yet AND 15 minutes down the road after we left there...i called her back and purchased an old shabby door. she's holding it for me...no telling what i may find when i go pick it up!
so that's what we bought at the scrap store! my dad never asked why we needed the "truck" to go to the scrapbook store??
check out more "treasures" at Southern Hospitality, Rhoda will be glad you stopped by!
not one piece of 12x12 paper was purchased in the making of these photos!
table photos and much much more to come...
happy monday!

You SNEAKY,SNEAKY GIRL! Yep, told you she had cool stuff! Love the stuff you got..I just heard today the store in Fayetteville is closing too...ugggh, that's all of them down here..only ones left are up north..or online these days..sad..
