I use Picasa for stuff like that...but you can do it in Photoshop? Is that what you are wanting? Just crop your pics to square and use the move tool to move it onto your square canvas? Assume you are talking about the one on AE blog with the squares?

thank you, thank you! but i once had a free download that did it for you...i think all i had to do was click and drag!
